Nvidia hired Jaimie and Adam from Mythbusters to explain the difference between a CPU and a GPU.  In it they used a paintball gun (computer controlled) to paint a face.  That in itself sounds cool… but the monster they created to compare to a GPU “painted” the Mona Lisa within milliseconds.

Cool Things In Random Places posted an interesting collection of Rice field art in the country of the rising sun. When you think of Stephen Colbert, what do you think?  Pundit? Talk Show Host?  Funny Person?  Good Straight Man?
You think of many things, but I’m pretty sure that American Hero wasn’t one of them.  Well he wanted to change that opinion…
Pseudo-pundit Stephen Colbert might give officials at the Smithsonian a “Tip of the Hat,” rather [...]

I’ve seen many examples of art or just wow with Tesla Coils. This is a great example of both. Plus with the added benefit of timeliness.
Peter Terren loves toying with Tesla coils. The 51-year-old Australian doctor bailed on his physics major during his first year of college, but that didn’t stop [...]
