The Olympics is one of those places where all politics stop and amazing events are the rule of the day. I was perusing the USA Team blogs (yes they have them, and its pretty cool) and ran across this blurb:
…George W. Bush holds up the American Flag the right way after wife Laura Bush instructed him to turn it around…
So even where we are shown the love, Bush makes us look silly…
That said, it also shows our freedom of speech, and the blogs show out love for our nation. No matter who is currently supposedly running it. The posts are touching, inspiring and amazing in the looks they give us. And its a lot of behind the scenes and thoughts not glossed over by NBC and the corporate scene.
FYI – Yes I wish they had used WordPress for the backend. There are a few annoying things about it, that are standard for WordPress.
