Last month, our fair city became the 44th (give or take) to be included in one of Google’s more ingenious offerings – the Street View.
I was reading my paper at lunch like I normally do and I ran across that article. The intersting part about it, was about a month ago I noticed they had fairly recently done streetview for most of Napa. And the pictures had been taken fairly recently as certain things where they way they were (tree coloring, temp fences up in a certain place). I’d love to see a list of the places they have covered but I guess someone with enough free time could just follow the highways and note where they turn off, and see how much of the city is outlined.
For those that would like to see Downtown Napa or just take a drive up the Valley without leaving your home I’ll link in Napa’s Streetview. Just either drive up 29 to head to the major wineries, follow Soscol into towards downtown Napa and then head over to the Silverado Trail to see a beautiful run up-valley.
