Mind I’m sure there are a few dry countries that will argue this comment. But it’s a telling thought. The better beer they make, the more influential they tend to be. I guess I can be glad that for every bad beer (yes I consider that very popular Budweiser a bad beer) there are dozens of very good beers, ales, porters, lagers and such. But living in Napa as I do, I’ve got to wonder if the same doesn’t sort of lead true for wines also. I just ran across this quote and had to chuckle.
