One of the cool things that Google does is have different people do presentations on a subject and record it and throw it up on Google Video. Quite often its about subject that are interesting in only really a geeky sense, so I tend not to post about them here (I think I’ve only posted about 1 other). But even though the subject is extremely geeky for this forum, I figured to share this one since it’s unusual.
Dimitri Gaskin is a core developer on Drupal, a jQuery wizard and above the fact that he got to present at Google he’s only 12 years old. For a 12 year old he did a fairly decdent presentation (He hasn’t been taught that you should never use “ummm” to pause) and showed a lot more talent in jQuery then more then a few coders I know.
* WordPress uses jQuery for a lot of the fancy AJAXy things and has been moving primarily to it.
