Turns out what happens in Hawaii only stays there long enough to launch itself toward our inbox. Take for example, what struck some attendees as a budding romance between TechCrunch CEO Heather Harde, the former Fox executive Michael Arrington hired to run his blog’s business end, and Matt Mullenweg, the creator of WordPress. Now, TechCrunch runs on WordPress, so it’s possible that Mullenweg was just giving Harde blogging tips. But witnesses to their late-night canoodling at the bar say that wasn’t the kind of pointer in question.
Isn’t it amazing how you can read an article and suddenly have an idea in ones mind about the authors maturity? I’ve scanned Valleywag for the occasional that’s cool story. I was sort of surprised to read that Matt of WordPress fam was supposedly flirting away. The main reason I was surprised though was that he’s been dating Glenda for a long while. And rather then what was noted, she’s not exactly homely and very intellectual woman. So… it just didn’t match up with what I’ve known of him…
and also seeing the author be slapped down by his own fans in his own article was very… well bloggy. I know its not a real word, but in a newspaper those posts would of been edited…
Owen failed the reporter test…
