If you haven’t kept up with the latest Captain America comic plot lines, you may be in for a shock to learn that the virile symbol of American patriotism is dying and he has to choose a successor from among a band of merry marines and office trollops. But who lurks over his left shoulder? Is that … drowsy-eyed, hunky Digg founder Kevin Rose sporting a Diggnation T-shirt? We’ll have to wait until January 2008 to learn if Rose and his Digg army can save America from Al-Qaeda — and if Marvel, publisher of the comic, has mastered the fine art of Diggbait.

I think its interesting who the artist chose in the picture. You have Kevin Rose of Digg, allowing for a supposedly more democratic process in selecting news to read;Barack Obama, presidential candidate, possible first black president; The Cheerleader from Heroes, showing anyone can save the world; Tina Fey, Humor can save all; and a Marine, our everyday hero…
I’m curious… out of all available, who do you think is missing? Who do you think should of been on that poster? Personally I think good possibles would of been Steve Rutan of Space Ship One a genuine smart guy with balls of steel, or Dwayne Johnson (aka. The Rock) a very strong guy who seems to be decently down to earth and of good morals. Basically good down to earth people…
