I’ve been doing a lot of searching for airline tickets recently. With planning a vacation in the beginning of next summer, this is the time of year to start making plans. So I already have a hotel reserved, and was working out the airfare. and a couple things I noticed. The default fare that airlines charge on their site isn’t always the cheapest. Just one site might not be the cheapest. I checked 5 sites for airfare and found one extremely expensive flight of $800 a person to flight round trip to Hawaii, 2 sites that had $550 a person round trip, and 2 that had $380 a round trip. The graphics and the close prices in some of those sites, made me wonder if it was two different services both with multiple names. Only rule I’ll give you before leaving to read the article is that you should price it multiple times from multiple places, and make sure fines & taxes are worked in.
