Today was the second day of the Napa Town and Country Fair. Normally I would go this early (I do go on the Weekends), but this was Kids Day and kids where allowed in for free. Plus Joseph got to dance for the first time this year at the fair. So I went and had an extended lunch to watch that, and then came back after work so it wouldn’t be a waste of money. Now during mid-week, it is a lot lighter crowds. And also the bands are the main entertainment. I go for the Demolition Derby on the Weekends. Now last year they had a couple real good bands, so I was glad to go to the concerts. I got to see Smashmouth and also got to see the Charlie Daniels Band. This year I wasn’t as excited to see the music, but I figured I’d take in the OFFICAL Village People (They went on about some fakes) tonight. Now for a bunch of “old disco fanatics.” They did a remarkable job getting the comfortable Napa people up and dancing. With a number of songs where I went “they did that?” To some ones I hadn’t heard, and where pretty good. Below are clips of them doing Macho Man, and YMCA.
