We decided to acknowledge WordPress because the authors have done good work and we rely on the software. We hope our acknowledgment helps foster the WordPress community.

[Truemors]
I had read earlier Guy Kawasaki had written a post about a new start up he had created in a short period of time (BTW read the post… it pretty interesting). One of the big things that they like saying they used was the Wordpress Blogging Platform. Not as a blog, but closer as a CMS, or better yet a base for a site that allows one to pass on a “Truemor” (True Rumor merging) simple, easily and using many different ways. I have to say for the seven and a half weeks they took. The site is working surprisinly well.
So if you are one of those, generally developers like me, who have been curious what can be done with Wordpress, or you like to read hot rumors just as they come in, then go ahead and visit Truemors.
