First when they announced the new 2012 London Olympic Games Logo… and people where declaring it looked like Lisa Simpson giving a blow job, I thought perhaps that was stretching it. But the more you look at it, it just doesn’t look right. And then the BBC broadcast some views on TV about it, and ended with displaying a number of user submitted logos to use instead. Of them I liked the one using Big Ben and the Millennium Wheel for numbers, and there was another making it look like the London tube map, which was creative. But the first logo they showed takes the cake. I’m not sure if they purposely paused on it, but a goatse version logo wasn’t what I ever expected to see on TV.

Looks to me like a roll of pink toilet paper that has been shredded by a cat.
No… I think that might of looked better. I mean certain parts do look like they spent some time. But otherwise the logos the random people submitted look tons better. And you know they didn’t spend any time (under half an hour) on them.
It used to be, that you got embarrassed by the mascots…. or what the committee thought would be cute mascots. This committee is starting early.
