Building on the success of its iTunes-basedHear Musicpage, Starbucks has decided to launch its own record label. For some reason I thought Starbucks already had its own record label.  When you go and grab your Venti Mochoa you are always greeted by a selection of albums branded with the Starbucks name.  And I may be getting old, but the selection always seems interesting, and ALSO it seems that they where all produced by Starbucks.  But perhaps this is simply a case of Starbucks making a whole new label to focus directly on itunes/online verses the instore albums.
