The local library system has a Friends of the Library and every few months they hold a book sale. During this multi-week (weekend) book sale they have a bag of book sale. So for $3 you can fill a bag up as much as possible with books and at the same time add a wide variety of books that you selected to your personal library. Well in my case I bought a very full bag for myself, and then my wife and son bought a bag for themselves. And considering I’ve already read my son 4 books tonight, it was good that we got so many for him. My only problem was trying to select only good book from the huge variety they had. Plus they where constantly bringing out new armfuls and boxes of books to restock the tables.
So check with your local library and see if they have a friends association who do book sales. Also if you join them (giving yourself a nice warm fuzzy), you get to go to the book sale earlier and you get a larger selection to choose from.
