[...] Jerry Lundegaard had a cunning plan. After reading on Newsvine (a popular Social News Web Site) that Michelle Manhart – an Air Force Drill Sergeant was recently removed from active duty for appearing nude in Playboy — he called the Minnesota Star Tribune with a proposal.

And yesterday, 2,600 Minnesota Guardsmen posed naked for the Star Tribune, appearing in Editorial section of the paper. “Believe me, seeing some of the guys in our squad pose naked is a far bigger crime than Miss Manhart’s. Take me, I have a third nipple;”

Gov. Tim Pawlenty: “Our Men and Women must be sent for home for posing nude – at least they should be taken off active duty like Miss Manhart.

Republican Senator Coleman: “Normally, I don’t support nudity, But this was tastefully done, no frontal nudity, just 2,600 freedom fannies. Clearly our children should be sent home.”

Welll who didn’t see that coming.  And considering the number of National Guardsman, I wonder how many other states are going to start “requesting” their troops to be sent home.   Or I wonder how many are going to resort to “tricks” like this to attempt to get sent home.

I looked over the Star Tribunes website, but couldn’t find this “incriminating” photo.
