When you look at the logo, you may worry that we forgot our name overnight, skipped a letter, or have decided that “Googe” has a better ring to it. None of the above. I think Google was feeling a touch defensive. Personally I think its a cute logo, even if the “gl” is a bit obscused together. But in case you missed it (perhaps you are in Siberia hiking, and the first thing you did was visit this page) the link goes to an announcement page about their Valentines Day Logo.

Could it be that the strawberry is the L? The chocolate part of on the strawberry is in the shape of a heart (L is for love), and the chocolate drippings below look like a G.
I was thinking the stem was the L and the strawberry was a fancy g with the two letters blended together.
