Breast implants save woman’s life?
JERUSALEM (Reuters) – An Israeli woman’s breast implants saved her life when she was wounded in a Hizbollah rocket attack during Israel’s war with the Lebanese group, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old’s heart.
“She was saved from death,” said a spokesman for Nahariya Hospital in northern Israel. The woman has been released from hospital.
OK, I admit I only posted this because… well it’s weird. I’ve heard of peoples lives being saved by bibles in their pocket, a bullet being deflected by large bling under their shirt and of course body armour of some sort. But this is the first case of a person being saved by their… boobies… that I’d heard of. I wouldn’t suggest to a woman to run out and get fake implants, but I wonder if they’ll have a run on them.
