Last week the BBC demanded video host YouTube remove many copies of its Top Gear TV service from its website. That was because, this week, the BBC made Top Gear available in its entirety on-line at BBC2.
I’ve talked about this show a couple times. And I REALLY wish it was avaliable in the states. They have had a short special run on Discovery Channel before (3-4 episodes on a weekend) but a regular series would be nice. It would fit right in with the current crop of fixing up cars, motorcycles and such. What makes this show so fun? They take cars and trucks and run them how they are supposed to, and let you know straight out what works, and what doesn’t. And if it’s a sport’s car… it’ll have it’s professional driver Steg race it, and try and get the best time. Which leads to interesting resulats (whatch the episode about the Atom).
