Limited-Use Password Plugin
This is an extension to WordPress that allows you to send a SHA-1 token to someone that you know that will allow them to bypass the password protection on a post of yours for a number of times that you specify.

  1. You might not want several people to share the same password.
  2. You might need to control how many times a person can read a post.
  3. You might want to record some of the access attempts on your private posts.

Looking at this, I’m not sure if it’d be a use to me. I don’t do private posts. But I’m sure I can imagine other people who might find this invaluable. Investor types can give their mailing lists one time passwords and control who get’s their special stock tips. Teenage girls can use it to have posts only certain people can read. All in all… there are uses… but specific.

Does anyone know the name of the wordpress plugin that creates a list of your posts in a category instead of just displaying them one after the other? I want it so that when someone clicks on a category they just get a list of posts from that category.

I'm sure Ive seen one…and sifting through the WP site is a nightmare

What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
    Thanks.

  3. Well that is what your feed does except it takes the most current and places it on top. But every few hours? How often do you post? will it of changed every few hours? Also would the oldest post actually change? Wouldn’t it always be the same? And if you do the blog in reverse order then it:
    1. Isn’t a blog
    2. Your intro page wouldn’t be changing… search engine wouldn’t like it as much.

And Lane – It already does that. All categories are grouped. If you have fancy tags going you’ll notice that.
