I was seeing a number of referrers from a “news page” so I went and found a site called Topix provides a news scraper service and forums to allow you to talk about a subject. I like the layout but the jury is still out ona feature they also provide. They provide a box in which you can put on your site and will show the top 3 stories. I like it in idea but so far eh. I quickly figured out that you can customize the colors manually. I also worked out that I could add a tag to set the size (it’s not listed anywhere). But there are still 2 problems. I can’t adjust the font size and it’s huge. And it uses HTML {li}’s for bullets (•) which cause it get slightly mangled in my layout.
