The only U.S. outpost of the luxurious Amanresorts brand, Amangani is a modern take on the classic ski resort, with a cobbled-stone façade and slanting roof. Interiors are sleek and cozy, with dramatic lighting, high ceilings and low-lying furniture. During the winter high season, rooms start at $900 per night and include one ski pass per person per day.
It’s freaking amazing that no matter how expensive the Napa Valley is… not one of the resorts where in the top 10, but a hotel in Wyoming was. And here I was shocked because when looking for prices of hotel rooms here in Napa I was finding around $150 to be normal. And I’ve deigned price lists for much higher.
