I’ve had to deal with hornets around the house at times. Sometimes I’ve even run into huge nests (paper ones) which would meansure a couple of feet in legnth. But even with all the nests, it’s never been something I’d fear. I fear hornets more then bees, but typically they are small annoying, flying bugs. That’s it. until I read this article on Asian giant hornets. I now have a great fear about hornets the size of a hand, that enjoys eating lots of bees for fun.
