Quick & dirty, we waited on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours. Missed a connecting flight & spent 2 hours fixing. The Aloha & Embassy staff saved the day

We got ready for a 4 1/2 hour flight, but after we were boarded and the full plane was adjusted person wise to get everyone seated, we backed up… only to be brought back to the gate to have them check something on the engine. After 2 1/2 hours of that, we started the flight and started towards Honolulu, and got there so late we missed our connecting flight to Kauai. ATA contacted Aloha Airlines and rebooked… but not with enough time to get there. So we got to the Aloha Airlines counter and they sat us down and rebooked it all and we got on a shuttle about 2 hours later. [...]
