Someone found this video and posted this and TUAW caught it and meantioned it, so I guess I’m more just passing it along.
When Apple announced the ipod a number of people where shocked and going “What an MP3 Player?” And it took time to for people to realize the business plan (Sell ipods to millions and have people start to realize that Apple makes elegant solutions that just work… and those people start buying Macs.), so needless to say there was a little grief at the beginning. Then they announced the Shuffle and you got a lot more grief… until people realized for an elegant, small, light package you got a niceMP3 player that sounded great… and made you want to buy a bigger ipod.
Caught on yet? Apple sells something, people wonder, buy, and then buy the more expensive items. A ton of businesses wish they had that pull.
