Downtown procession marks 100th anniversary

More than 250 people gathered before dawn Tuesday morning and marched from downtown Santa Rosa to the old Rural Cemetery to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the devastating earthquake of 1906.
San Francisco was not the only city hit hard by the 1906 Quake. It just had the largest loss. Santa Rosa may of been small but it had it’s entire downtown devestated and a good percentage of it’s population left dead.
