One of the hosts for the larger files you see on this site is Dreamhost. This provider has proven to be extremely reliable and I can’t imagine coming close to my limits. The base account has a Gig of space and a Tetrabyte of transfer. And it keeps increasing Weekly! All this for normally $8 a month. (Monthly account you get hit with an activation fee though). BUT the prices get better on a yearly plan or every 2 years. Also I was able to set up with them a Discount for my readers of $97 a Yearly (or every 2 years) plan and $25 off a monthly plan. Go ahead and use LITWC97 to receive the discount. NOTE: this is for the base account, if you want me to see about a discount for larger accounts let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
PS – I wanted to state that besides using them for hosting, I have no relationship with Dreamhost. If you want tailered Guaranteed Hosting and need help with integration with an existing back-end or other database (or something similar) then I’d direct you to a friend who has a bit more expensive hosting but more ability to help.
