For some reason this song kept popping into my head as my friend was explaining his latest issue. What was it? A manufacturer saying that it’s router couldn’t do what Chris (my friend) wanted. Now an owner of a few routers I realize that if I wanted to I could always have parts of it’s jobs shoved over to other boxes. I haven’t a need to, but I knew I could. Well in this case, Chris has needed too. He had a client that had it’s T1 router swapped by the ISP. Not a big issue, accept they where having a hard time fixing it back. Interesting write up by Chris and defiantly a humorous read.
This sorta reminds me when the ISP (Actually same ISP) swapped out the router here at work and I had to walk them through how to get the network set back up right here. It took many calls before getting a person who knew what i was talking about and just fixed it.
