I have a PC directly next to my recliner in the Living Room so that I can surf while watching. With a Wireless keyboard and mouse it works really well. Well it worked very well…. until the wireless mouse got dropped one too many times and died. So I rolled to the backup. A wired Logitech 510 I had, which is a very good mouse in it’s own right… but wired. Well so I started searching, and I think I’ve found my mouse to get for my birthday (when I can escuse spending money) in a month.

Logitech Media Play Mouse

The Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Mouse is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. First, it has all the features you need to use it as your everyday mouse: smooth optical tracking, clutter-free cordless freedom, extra navigation buttons, and a powerful scroll/tilt wheel that lets you scroll up and down, left and right, and in and out.

And when you’re ready to relax, the MediaPlay mouse relaxes with you. Back-lit extra buttons like play/pause, forward/back, and volume up/down let you control your media player with almost no effort. You can also hold it like a remote control and use it away from your desk thanks to the expanded cordless range. Its wireless mini receiver elininates clutter and installs instantly. And 6 months of battery life mean more music and video with fewer interruptions!

A good sales pitch by logitech, and a very deserved liking for logitech mice has me throwing this on my list. Once I get it, I’ll make sure to do a review.

  1. That’s it. I’m sending back your birthday present.

  2. Hmmm you can get me this also… I won’t mind. I’m a sucker for gifts. Especially since it’s down to once a year normally. ;P

I’m a toy-r-us kid ;P Just the cost of the toys have gone up.
