Now when I made this blog I did it more to share what I’ve found interesting… and in some cases it’s worked as random people have commented and either agreed an article was interesting or shared more info (and so far I’ve actually had more good posts then spambots… w00t!)
Now I’ve been preached about website optimization to boost google search rankings and such, but I don’t know much about it. I make sure the META is there, but sometimes it seems I am not attracting the audience that would like to read this site, and they only happen by because they get the notice about the new article (from somewhere).
Well Dan Richard the guy that made the pixel2life website wrote a post… or actually revisited a post about how he drove traffic to his site with no advertsing dollars.
You’ve just launched a new website under a new domain, but traffic is slow and you’re not sure how to go about reeling in traffic without spending any money. Here are the basics I used when starting Pixel2life.com.
So go ahead, visit his post and get some ideas… I know I’ll be tweaking my META keywords, though I’m not fully sure what keywords to use… I’ll start by what catagory keywords I’ve been using.
