OK take an area that has a ton of museums… a slow tourist day.. and then open them up, what do you get?
So I plan to take my son by the Train Museum and Car Museum; maybe old-town also.
Sacramento besides being full of museums actually has good museums… not sure about the zoo (listed) but the old-town has tons fo California history, the railroad museum is one of the best in the nation, and I’ve heard that the car museum has a great collection. So if you have some free time Saturday, head on down and enjoy all the exhibits. Just bring an umbrella… it’s supposed to rain.
