Braces for fashion?!?!?!

When I went to school I had a retainer for a short period.  My teeth didn’t need the full braces treatment (and parents couldn’t afford it).  Later my sister had braces in High School
but it was necesssary in her mind.  As far as I know it’s never been fashionable… but i guess it is in Thailand.
