You know, I’m not sure what the coolest keyboard is out there. I’ve used a few different ones, but some I’ve seen lately beat all.

My personal keyboard I got for my gamer (Diablo) is a Saitek Executive. Funny though, I can’t see an executive having a keybaord that glows in their office. But this is s a cool looking keybaord. Also bsides looking good, it has a great feel and over all I’ve been quite pleased with it.

Another cool looking one that a clanmate bought recently (Shughart) was the Logitech G15. As a logitech I was somewhat interested. I’ve used logtechs a lot and I do love their feel… even if they don’t have the snap feel that I really love in Dell keyboards or the old IBM ps2 keybaords. He loves his, my main deal was that you where paying for a small monitor on your keyboard… and how often would you look at it?

One cool portable keyboard that I could see wanting if I traveled a lot… or if I had a tight are is this Projector Keyboard. It supposedly has a decently fast typographic rate (400wpm) but I wonder how exact it is, and how well it’d react int he real world.

Another definate cool keyboard I’ll be looking ay once they actually start selling them, sometime this year. The Optimus is a Russian Designed keyboard that utilizes cled’s for the keys. With the ability to customize and it’s cool looks. I’ts a definate head turner. It’s not “ergomatic”, but as some other keyboard makers have stated flat keyboards can be good for you.
A couple keyboards that are strange but don’t get my vote are the Datahand Professional II and the Microsoft Ergonomics and das keyboard (sorry I don’t have it memorized that well).
